we are a bare to the bones online wine store determined to pass on the best values to you. take a look at our site. we don't even capitalize our text 'cause we found out it saved time. and time is money! seriously, we created this website solely to pass on fantastic wine values to you. we are a division of tastes of the valleys wine bar in solvang, ca so we do know wine.
so, how do we select wines? we taste before we buy. look at our return policy and you will understand why. you don't think we want to get stuck with crappy wine, do you?
how many wines do we offer? we feature one wine at a time but it stays online till we run out of it. i guess that means we offer as many wines as we can get at below market prices.
do we require a club membership? no. that would be too much work, for both you and us. our shopping cart does require that you establish an account before purchasing but that is it.
do we collect email addresses? yes. how else would we be able to bother you with wine deals.
do we sell your email address to some internet entrepreneur? no, but it is shared with tastes of the valleys wine bar. and selling it would require a bunch of fine print and, you guessed it, it would be too much work.
how we work:
usually in our pajamas. just kidding. we don't own pajamas.
the concept is simple. see wine on website - buy wine on website. afraid of identity theft? call us at 805-688-7111 and we will take your order over the phone. don't want to pay shipping (if there is any)? come pick up your wine up in solvang.
see, we are really easy. it's just too much work any other way 'cause saying yes is always easy!
legal stuff
do we ship to all states?
we do not ship to all states. some states will put us in jail if they catch us. remember, we don't own pajamas and that would be awkward in jail.
can i ship to someone else?
yes, and that is very generous of you. your friends will love you. call us with details and we will figure it out. and yes, the recipient must be over 21 so don't get any ideas!
can i pick up and save shipping fees?
yes, you may pick up at our store in solvang, ca. tastes of the valleys wine bar is located at 1672 mission dr, solvang, ca. (805) 688-7111. call to arrange so we can prepare your order.
what about free delivery
we do offer free delivery. just enter your zip code when calculating shipping fees. a free delivery option will automatically appear if you are within our free delivery zone. santa ynez, solvang, buellton, santa maria, orcutt, oceano, grover beach, arroyo grande, pismo and shell, san luis obispo are within our free zone.
can i ship to a business?
yes. probably a better idea if no one under 21 is home to accept that package. unless you don't trust your co-workers.
what about returns?
returns are accepted if the wine is corked or spoiled. we reserve the right to determine if the wine is corked or spoiled. VERY IMPORTANT (wow! all caps. this must be serious): corked or spoiled wines must be sent with the majority of the wine in the bottle. you can't drink the darn wine and say it was bad! we will arrange to have the wine picked up and replaced.
returns for any other reason may be sent back within 7 days of receipt, at your cost, and are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. the same carrier, method, and packing materials must be used. call or email us to obtain approval before returning any wine.
